The Saddlebrook Board has worked hard this year to keep our community a safe, fun and beautiful area to live in. Our community, common areas and properties are 30 years old, and many repairs were needed to update the common areas. Below is a listing of most of the updates.
- Replaced patio and broken walkway making Handicap compliant
- Tree removal around pool area
- Cut back overgrown Forsythia bushes by patio area
- Added community bulletin board at clubhouse for community updates
- Added lending libraries
- Added puzzle perches
- Added closed Saddlebrook Farms HOA group on Facebook, send request for membership to Debbie King
- Replaced sand in adult pool filter
- Added electric to the patio area
- Added games for families at patio area
- New furniture and umbrellas for pool area, patio and playground
- Silt treatment added to lake in addition to algae control
- Repaired clubhouse chimney
- Cleaned out drain at men's outdoor bathroom door to prevent flooding of the men’s bathroom
- Repaired leak in clubhouse roof
- Added handicap parking sign and drop off signs
- Redid landscape on bank going to pool area
- Redid landscape around patio
- Added internet to the clubhouse and patio area
- Added security cameras to clubhouse
- Added safety rail at stone steps at the patio
- Added new front entrance lights
- Updated outside clubhouse lights
- Removed white fencing at clubhouse and across the street
- Replaced filter and connected to sewer to repair kiddy pool
- Working on updating 30 year old HOA declarations and bylaws
- Contract for new lawn care company. Will be providing treatment for the bike/walking path this winter for snow and ice removal
- Created handbooks for the Saddlebrook board members with the current information for Morgan’s Trace and Saddlebrook’s declarations, bylaws, and policies and other needed content, to provide aid in decisions made by the board and to aid in training new board members
- Confirmed budget for 2023 based on current estimate of inflation
- Additional TV added to clubhouse with DVD player
- Dog Park established in Morgan’s Trace (Donated by Heinke Lillenstein and Family)
Plans for 2023
- Update HOA policies
- Plans to redo handicap ramps and railing at front of the clubhouse
- Freshen up islands in main roadway and entrance way
- Replace/remove fence facing Weaver Rd.
- Get estimates for electronic system for pool gates and doors for clubhouse
- Repair lawn from installation on the sewer connection
- Provide handbooks for all Saddlebrook HOA community on hopefully updated declarations, bylaws and polices
- Provide opportunities to socialize with your community family
- Continue to provide options to Increase the communication methods for community updates
- Stain gazebo and dock
- Repaint Clubhouse outside bathroom doors
- Review recommended updates and repairs from our reserve report for future community needs
- Create email database of all Saddlebrook members to aid in distribution of community updates
- Welcome positive community member suggestions to improve the overall properties
